Staff training C1 - GER-APP

On 26 March 2021 Anton Trstenjak Institute of Gerontology and Intergenerational Relations conducted the first training session on key elements of working WITH older people.
This session was the first one in the series of sessions through which we will create Guidelines for developing senior competences.
17 participants from all the partner organizations have learned about a quality personal conversation that is indeed different than a chat or a work conversation. Furthermore we explored the guidelines for a nice conversation and highlighted how important it is to choose the right topic for conversation.
In the coming months we will be using these practical learnings in our conversations with older people and we are looking forward to hearing about these experiences!
